Beatty Cowboys & Floozies
The Beatty Cowboys & Floozies are Beatty’s own Old West troublemakers—in the friendliest possible way. They’re a local troupe of folks who love dressing up in 19th-century gear, staging mock gunfights, and bringing a little “wild” back to the Wild West for visitors and locals alike.
You’ll spot them at big town events like Beatty Days and the Fourth of July parade, where they roll in with hats, petticoats, prop guns, and a whole lot of personality. Between mock shootouts, skits, and parade entries, they’ve taken home prizes and become one of those “you can’t have a Beatty event without them” groups.
Behind the scenes, they’re just friends and neighbors who turned their love of history and hammy acting into a full-on Old West crew. One minute they’re playing lawmen, outlaws, and saloon girls; the next, they’re posing for photos with visitors like it’s 1906 all over again
When they’re not in the middle of a staged shootout, you might catch them hanging out at local spots like the Happy Burro or SOurdough Saloon, where they’re always up for a story, a laugh, and a photo op in full costume. They can even be hired for special events, weddings, parties, and other “we need a little Old West chaos” moments.
At the end of the day, the Beatty Cowboys & Floozies are just pure Beatty—loud, dusty, dramatic, and full of heart. They keep our Old West spirit alive not in a museum case, but out in the street, laughing, posing, and putting on a show. When they ride in, you don’t just hear about Beatty’s history—you feel it walking right past you in boots and lace.
